All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Once upon a time a sweet little dachshund fell in love with a manly corgi. And now we have Lilbit! She has the dachshund body and face, but dads ears and tail. She is so adorable, she makes us laugh every day. But her temperament! That's where she really shines. She is a major cuddler and also loves to give hugs. Such a loving, sweet little girl. Good with other dogs, fun and happy when she is sure of her surroundings, she will be a dream to have as your own. She came to us from a hoarding situation, so she can, for now, be shy in new surroundings and with new people, but her natural personality is winning over history more every day and as long as you go slowly with new introductions in her life, she is good to go. We have made sure she is all ready to go to you, and have gotten her all her shots. She has also been vet checked. Can you see her bouncing around with her toys in your backyard? Your livingroom? How about trotting next to you on walks? You can make it happen!
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER; She's is housebroken and goes to the door when she wants to go out. She knows her commands of sit, stay and come. She is good with children over 8. She loves going for walks or hikes. The ideal person would be someone who is not gone all day long as she loves to be with her human. She is quiet and is a complete snuggle bug. Once she settles in, she loves to play ball. She gets along with other dogs. Although she is not currently living with cats, she appears to be cat friendly. She was nose to nose with the cat at our vet and didn't react. She walks beautifully on a leash. She cannot be confined to a kennel as she is terrified of the kennel. She does great with free access to the entire home. She likes to be able to look out of a window.   She is such a sweetheart.
