All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This friendly black lab mix came to us from an elderly lady who saved a pregnant mama dog from a sure death and let her have her puppies in safety. When all 7 were born, the lady couldn't part with them, so, suddenly, she had 8 dogs! Overwhelmed and frail, she was at the end of her rope and asked us to help. So, here we have one of the sweet puppies. A happy, outgoing dog, Dottie has grown up around LOTS of other dogs and plays well with other dogs. She also has lots of experience with children and loves them, just like a good lab should. Well socialized and full of life, she would be great if you are an active person or family. She would be a wonderful hiking partner, camping friend, or jogging companion. She would love to be a family member for you and to play in your backyard, or go for walks. She is already spayed for you and has all her shots. She is ready to go!
