Lilly needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Lilly is sweetness all the way, from her soft, feathery fur, to her loving heart. She loves children and was raised with them, as well as other dogs. She does play well with other dogs and is a wonderful family dog. Her foster describes her as: "all she wants is to climb on your lap for "lovins".  Lilly is so very sweet and gets along well with the other dogs. She seems hesitant about certain decisions when walking on a leash but does better in a harness. The people who brought her in had a small child and she was great with it. I honestly don't think she could be mean if she wanted to. They said they were turning her in because they could no longer feed a dog".
Lilly is hoping for a better home the next time around, one where there will be good food in her dish and lots of petting. She loves attention and is really friendly. She has even done well with cats! On the smaller side of medium and only 2 years old, she should have a long life ahead of her to love you back and could easily become the best dog you have ever had.
