Candy needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Candy was dumped at a kill shelter because she was simply unwanted. She has never known what it is like to be loved. She is just a sad dog. A wonderful black lab mix, she is like a flower bud that was never watered or cared for, so never opened. With love, our Candy would blossom and grow into a great best friend and companion dog. If you show her that you love her by doing small things, like making sure she has food in her bowl, giving her a soft place to sleep, and running your hand across her coat while speaking gently to her, she will be sure she has arrived in heaven, as none of these things have ever happened to her before. She has a heart brimming with love that she would like to give away. Wouldn't it be amazing if you were the one she chooses?
