Sweet little Grace was left behind during Hurricane Irma and nobody ever came for her. Her slender body and light weight make it amazing that she survived, but she did. She is such a loving dog and simply adores people. If you let her, she will curl up on your lap in a furry bundle and sigh with happiness. A real love bug! She tries her best to be a good girl at all times and wants to please her people. She has such expressive eyes...when she looks up at you, she can melt a heart. She has been through so much. First the terrors of the hurricane, and then the abandonment, that we want to find her a very good home where those bad times will fade away and be replaced with good food, lots of petting, and much love. If you like your dog to believe that the sun rises and sets upon your very own head, you are going to adore Grace. 
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER:Grace is a real tail wagging, medium energy, 3 year old dog, whose favorite thing is to sit on you .. or with you ... and just chill. She will dance if you take her front paws and walk with her when she jumps up. She is a Hurricane Irma survivor, and was terrified of outside when she first arrived ... so it's quite a site to see her happily romping outside with my pack. Gracie has learned about playing with children, toys and other dogs (cats, she only follows to sniff and then ignores). She will sit either on command or just to get your attention. She can also down, shake hands (give 5) and catch treats tossed her way. She loves her crate ... and often goes into an open crate to rest. She walks well on a leash. Housetraining still not 100% but .. quickly getting there! Did I mention ... she is so full of love ... a real sweetie pie!!!!
