Kilo needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Kilo is going to be a super great best friend and family dog. He is still quite young at only 2 years old and should have a long, happy, healthy life ahead of him to love you with all his heart. Here is what his foster has to say about him..."Kilo is a 2 year old black Lab, 80 lbs, who loves to play tug of war with any toy, and loves to tear up plushies. He enjoys to have a ball in his mouth at any moment, regardless of playtime or bedtime. He is very affectionate and will stay by your side no matter what you’re doing or where you are. He demands cuddles as soon as you sit, and will kiss your face given the chance. Though he enjoys all petting, a good scratch of the ears or chest will make him fall asleep on you. He wants to be inside on the couch, and will nap the day away if you let him. He does not have good leash manners, and will tug you wherever you are going; but will listen when you need him to obey. The commands he knows are “sit” and “come,” and he is potty trained. He is not possessive of any food, toy, or treat. I have no children, but he has been great with my dog (husky) and cat (American shorthair)."
Kilo has every single trait that has made Labs the most popular family dog in the country for more than 20 years. He is happy, fun, and always up to being best friends with whoever is nearby. He is going to greet your friends with a wagging tail and will be the hit of any backyard BBQ.
