Daisy needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Daisey was perfectly named. She is like a beautiful flower, waiting to unfold for someone who will love her back as much as she will love them. She came from a family of children, cats, and other dogs, who couldn't afford to keep and feed her any more. Daisey was taken to a kill shelter and it was dicey there for a while as to whether this sweet girl was going to see the next day. Because of her extra friendly and sweet nature, the staff there did everything in their power to find a safe place for her, and at the last moment, they did! Daisey now can look forward to long years of playing in your backyard, going for walks with you, and showing you how she just might be the best dog you have ever had. Her beautiful fawn, almost peach color set against milk white makes her stunning to see, but her best part is on the inside. She is a loyal, loving, forgiving dog, who will be so grateful to be all yours. She has deep, dark eyes, that will look up at you with trust and hope. She is going to make an excelllent family dog. Perhaps you will be the lucky one.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: It took Daisy two days to learn that jumping up on the table all the time is not appreciated but that if she sits nicely, it'll earn her treats. Now she'll alert you every 30 seconds or so with a sort of clear-the-throat/half-bark that she's sitting really prettily and needs to be rewarded. This dog cracks me up! Another big ambition of hers is to be allowed into bed. Yesterday morning she snuck into bed while my husband was taking a shower and she camouflaged herself so well that he didn't notice her while getting dressed. But then she gave herself away because she couldn't contain her delight and her tail started to twitch happily - the movement caught his eyes. She just can't help it, she's such a happy girl.
