BaLeah needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

It was a raw, cold, wet day and it looked like it was the end of the road for sweet BaLeah. There she sat, in the mud, alone and shivering, so hungry, on the side of the road. And her puppies were due any time. She watched the cars go past in a blur as her strength faded. An unwanted dog. A throw-away. And then a car stopped. Suddenly she was in a blanket, and was put into the car. The warmth was heaven. The hands that stroked her were gentle and kind. Soon, her puppies came. All ten of them were born into warmth and care. And all of them lived, healthy and strong. BaLeah was a great mama and gave them all the care they needed to grow. Now they are ready to find homes, and so is she. After all she has been through, we want to make sure she gets the very best home, where she will get food, a soft bed, and most of all, love for all of her life, never to be thrown away again. She will make a very grateful family dog and will try to show you every day how much she loves you. It's her time to shine!
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: She is unbelievably sweet. You can take a bulky stick out of her mouth. She’s also a good kisser. A real angel of a dog. A perfect family dog.
