All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Ahhh, what big eyes you have Blaze...Oh, that's the better to see you my friend, so I can love you with all my heart." This tiny, tiny boy, who weighs in at only 3.5 lbs., is purse sized. A long haired chihuahua, he is truly an accomplished lap dog. His favorite activity is snuggling, preferably somewhere nice and warm, and best of all, with his person. If you want a little lover, Blaze is the perfect choice. He has an incredibly sweet temperament and is just the right size to rest on your arm or against your chest, preferably right there on your heart. The beating sound makes him feel safe. When you are so very small, feeling safe is important! He may be older, but it just means he has gotten very good at loving with all that practice. He always tries to be a good boy and the best way to make him happiest (other than holding him) is to whisper that you love him and stroke him. He was born to be held and loved.
