All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Hi there, my name is Adele and I bet I'm the best dog you've ever met. I may be tiny, at only 8 lbs., but I have a big heart with which to love you! I have always been the best dog possible, getting house trained right away, loving kids, other dogs, even cats, but that didn't stop the family I had from just leaving me behind to die, locked in an apartment, when they moved. I cried and cried, trying to let people know how hungry I was, and how lonely, too. It finally paid off when someone found me and hugged me tight. Even though I was really hungry, and they gave me food, the hug was the best! I am a friendly, happy dog and a wonderful house dog. I fit "just right" in your arms. I am only 2 years old, so I should have a long life ahead of me to give you my heart and make you smile. I am looking for someone who won't leave me behind and who will appreciate all my good qualities. I am so small that I need a sweater to wear in cold weather to stay warm and I like to play with my tiny toys, but mostly I want to be loved. I was born for it! Are you going to be my person? My family?
