All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is H.R.H. (His Royal Highness) Cody Bologna. But you can call me Cody. I am a true Southern gentleman as I am originally from SC. My family abandoned me at a shelter there saying I should be euthanized because I would go to the bathroom on myself. I was in pretty bad shape as my arthritis made it hard for me to walk much. Reach Out Rescue took me, provided good food and medical care,  and now I can walk around the block. Ok! It may take 25 minutes to do it, but I’m doing it & so proud of myself too! I especially like walks in the cold weather.  I also LOVE car rides! So if you are looking for someone to ride shotgun with you on long road trips, I’m your man! I also like stroller rides. Just don’t stop for too long, or I will fuss. I want to keep going. I guess I wasn’t able to get around much for so long, I just love going places and seeing the scenery change.
But if you don’t want to go anywhere, well then, I’m still your guy. I love to just hang out with you.  If you have to leave me for awhile, I get anxious unless you give me an elk jerky treat. That is my favorite!  I am bigger than your average Pomeranian. I am about 15-20 lbs! But that’s because I am probably what they call a “throwback Pom,” though I prefer “classic” over “throwback,” which means I am like my ancestors were before Queen Victoria fell in love with my ancestries but bred them to be the smaller size they are today. Despite what the family who abandoned me said, I am perfectly house trained. I will let you know when I have to go out and I can go 7-8 hours now & then without having an accident.
If you have other animals, I am ok with that. I can be indifferent to other animals as I am more about you than other dogs or cats. In fact, I live with a cat that harasses me now & then.  I need a guardian wiling to commit to keeping me on a healthy diet, giving me my medications twice a day (about $2.50/day) & supplements. And of course spoil me rotten, take me for car & stroller rides, & take me for walks. But most importantly, love me furever!!!
