All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Dolly B has two goals in life: to be liked by everyone and everthing in the whole world...other dogs, cats, all people, and to be really loved by someone or a family. You see, Dolly B has spent her whole life on a chain. She is a naturally submissive, loving dog, and when we took her, and she shook off that heavy chain, she got a spark of happiness in her eyes that had never been there before. Her foster says she is a great little dog and is so enjoying playing outside and even more, coming inside where it's safe and dry. She has a dogbed now, and as far as Dolly B is concerned, that's the very height of luxury. Well, except for when someone pets her. She is busy getting used to being in a house at her fosters. She is working on house training, will go into a crate if you put a treat in there, has learned a lot about how stairs work, but is still not happy with hardwood floors. But it's coming! She is so delighted to have friends! Might you be her next new friend?
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: You can tell she was very socialized and loved in spite of a chained life. She' such a good little dog.

AN UPDATE FROM HER FOSTER: Little Dolly is a sweetheart! Not really shy at all, she loves all people! Last night, she tried to climb up the tv stand to greet the people on the screen. She soon accepted that she shouldn’t do this, so she sat on the sofa wagging her tail at them. She clearly thought it was quite rude that we didn’t invite them to join us on the couch.  She's been great with housetraining so far - no accidents. Also completely unfazed by our hardwood floors. Stairs - no problem! And if her foster parents giggle at her little, round butt heaving itself up the steps, well, that just shows that we don't have any manners, doesn't it?! She walks great on the leash, too.
