All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Full of hope and promise,Bambi is a great small dog in spite of just being thrown out and abandoned by her people. Her spirit was strong, however, and she doesn't hold it against humans. She is a friendly girl with an understanding soul.   She has shown herself to be very good with other dogs she has met, too. Her foster says "She loves belly rubs and getting attention. " She can be quite social once she has been given time to get to know everyone in a group. We have made sure she is ready for you, so she has all her shots and has had a health check up by a vet. She is ready to go! If you like sweet, loving and small, Bambi is the one for you.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HRE FOSTER:  Still very puppy- like  With a good bit of energy. She is 100% potty trained, so that's not an issue. She's not a constant chewer, but she does chew.   She would be a good companion but she does jump. She stands up Front paws  on the kitchen counter when she smells food.  She  is able to jump over a baby gate from standing and up on to a 3 and a 1/2 foot bed with no problem. I don't see her jumping over a fence because she likes to be with me. A fenced yard is probably best. Other than that she is a sweet girl. She is good with my dogs and cats And sleeps in the bed with me and the 3 little dogs. Very treat motivated so that would be incentive with future training.
UPDATE: He puppies are now big enuogh to find their own homes and Bambi's personality is beginning to shine right out. Her foster says "She is young and full of life. She raised her puppies and now is more playful and carefree to be herself. Loves attention and to stay close to you."
