All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Lexus looks like a big girl, but she isn't at all, at only 32 lbs. She also looks a lot like a shepherd, and a beautiful one, at that, but her smaller parent's genes surely won in the battle for size! We do expect her chest to fill out as she grows into adulthood, but Lex will never approach full shepherd size. So, if you like shepherds, but aren't ready for a big dog, you have just found the right package! Full love love and loyalty, Lex will remember all of her life that you were the one who came for her when the world had abandoned her. And at only a year old, she should have a long lifetime ahead of her to tell you how grateful she is every day. She is ready for you to teach her what you want her to know so she can be the perfect dog for you. We have noted that she has played well with the dogs she has met and that she has spent her days with us searching everyone who comes in contact with her to see if they might be the one to whom she gives her whole heart. She is willing and eager to follow direction and always tries her best to be a good girl. Her whole life just now is centered on finding someone who will love her and we think you can see that hope in those big, brown eyes. We have gotten her all ready for you. She has all her shots and is just waiting for you to come and take her home.
