All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Don't let her looks fool you. Allie is very small. Only 22 lbs. Tucks easily under one arm. She looks like a tiny, tiny Lab. She's really young, at barely a year old, and is used to being around other dogs. She looks to them for direction, as she's a true follower, so we want to place her in a home where there is at least one other dog she can turn to when she wants to know what to do next. She doesn't trust people yet as much as she does dogs, but even so, there is no aggression in her when approached by people. Her foster says "She's been overlooked because she's small, super quiet and shy with people. She loves other dogs and they boost her confidence.Even though she is unsure,  she allows people to pick her up and pet her all over. She just needs a patient person willing to work with her. And she is quickly learning that petting feels good! She has learned now how to walk on a leash and how enjoyable going for a walk can be. She has a naturally  sweet temperament." Give her a chance and you will have a lovely, friendly little dog.
