Hercules needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Meet Mighty Hercules! The small dog with the big personality. Everyone loves him...it's impossible not to! His foster fell under his spell right away and says of him "Meet Mighty Hercules (AKA Bandit), the rat terrier boy… a small dog with a big personality. Everyone

loves him...it's impossible not to! His fosters have fallen under his spell right away and says of him –

“Hercules is a sweet boy who loves to play with his toys. He is confident and alert, enjoys playing in

the yard and dog park. Hercules does well with other dogs and loves to meet new people. He likes to

chase cats so, a home without cats would be best for him. He is good with kids and is crate-trained

and house broken. He sits on command and loves treats and bones as rewards. With a little more

training, he will be the perfect dog and would do well with agility or focused activities. He loves riding

in the car (with my dog) and going to the dog park as he can hold his own with larger dogs, running

and playing. Hercules has no separation anxiety issues and he doesn’t mind when you go to work

although he would love to go with you if you can take him, he is well behaved around others, indoors

and outdoors.” Meeting and greeting your friends? He's the best! Other dogs coming over? Herc will

show them around and bring out the toys. He's an entertainment committee in a small package. Once

he gets to know you, he will follow you around the house and sit next to you on the sofa all night long.

He likes to watch TV too!"
