If you like to play outside with your dog. Andre is the one for you. He loves to play ball and is turning into a great catcher. Still quite young, and a rather smaller dog (pictures can be decieving) at only 40 lbs., he is extra playful and outgoing. He has shown us he loves to play with other dogs, too. His tail wags when he sees humans or canines. In fact, his tail wags most all the time! At his age, he should have many, many years to catch that ball and to love you with all his heart. Everyone in rescue who has met him has noted how really friendly he is. If you like hiking, camping, jogging, Andre will be delighted to go with you. He likes those things, too. Going places? He is an easy boy to take, as he is small enough to handle and always welcoming. He comes with the bonus of being thoroughly vetted and having all his shots. 

A SPECIALNOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Andre aka Andy is an absolute love.  He is only approx. 10 mo. old and full of playfulness and wiggles when meeting new people.  He is respectful to my old GSD but can wear my 5 yr. old GSD out.  He does not like to go into his crate and will cry when you first put him in. (Some treats tossed in will generally get him in.)   He loves to be near his person and is almost house trained.  He needs chew toys, lots of them unless he can play with the other dog.  He likes the cats and wants to play with them or at least sniff them.  He only chases after them if they run (typical).  Andy is a typical puppy and learns quickly.  He will be a big dog and is very strong....a harness vs. a collar would be best for him since he will pull.  He is very active and should have a yard with a physical fence.  He loves to run and play.  He is a wonderful dog, just needs some training and love.
