All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Fred is a sweet, gentle giant who loves staying indoors, being petted, and giving kisses. He is kind to everyone,  all people, kids, and dogs. He is just a sweetheart all around. He is also already house trained and crate trained. Sadly, Fred’s sole owner passed away recently. Fred has had a lifetime of learning how to be a wonderful dog and he would like to show you all that he has learned. He is so easy to love  and as he walks through your doorway you are going to feel like he has been there all his life. If you like the senior dogs, Fred is the perfect example of how good they can be. He would love to show YOU!  Fred is fully vetted and ready to go to his new home.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Fred is an awesome dog! He is very sweet, gets along well with my girls as well as my other three dogs. We have a German Shepherd, Plot Hound Mix, and a Chi Hua Hua. Fred is good with submitting to my German Shepherd who is considered the Alpha of the group. We did a slow introduction to all three of my dogs which served Fred well. Fred does not like to be alone. He will bark if left without company. He is house broken and does not chew. He does however, like lying on the furniture. :o) Fred is a large breed, possibly mixed with Great Dane. He's a pretty tall fellow. He does like to beg for people food every so often but does listen well to commands. Overall, a very sweet tempered big guy. He will make someone a great forever pup!
