All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Small, extra loving, this little guy is hoping for someone who will love him as much as he will love them back. His foster says "Leo is a cutie. He is friendly to people and other dogs. He also likes to take car rides. He would love to go with you when you are out and about. Leo is smart and will sit when asked. He is just waiting to learn more. He is a high energy little guy, but also loves to cuddle. He is house trained (an occasional accident) and crate trained." He is going to be a wonderful companion and house dog for you. He is already busy making friends at his foster's home, so this young dog is good at learning new things. Think what you will be able to teach him!  A Pomchi!
UPDATE FROM HIS FOSTER:
This little guy is a little ball of energy and loves to run around the house and yard. He is fast and very playful. Leo is a very loyal dog and will follow you everywhere and also needs a lot of attention. He will demand to be petted, but if you ignore him long enough he will find ways to entertain himself by running around the house and playing with toys.
Leo seems to be a protector and I don’t think he likes big dogs. (Although he gets along great with my 65 lb Pitt)  Leo does bark at other dogs in the neighborhood walking by. We believe that he should go to a home without children, as he doesn't like to be thwarted when he wants to do something. We are working on teaching him not to snap when he needs to be removed from a situation. He is a typical chihuahua in that way. Like lots of little dogs, Leo  has a bossy attitude and believes he is a much bigger dog than he really is, but I think he will make a great pet for the right person!
