Dove needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Just like the milk chocolate she was named for, Dove is SWEET! A smaller chocolate lab, she has all the friendly characterisitics that make Labs the #1 family dog of choice in the country. Her foster says "Dove is a very lovable, sweet girl, who seems to be very smart and trainable. Dove has a sweet disposition, and is ready to be friends with everybody." This girl will welcome all your friends, your children's friends, and be the official greeter for any party in your backyard. She has an outgoing personality, too, making her fun to be around. She brings smiles and laughter wherever she goes. You will find yourself saying "Good dog!" a lot. She is eager to learn and will try hard to figure out what you want from her, so she can do it to make you happy. If you have hoped one day to have a chocolate Lab, but not been ready for a larger dog, you have found the answer to your prayers. Her easy 45 pounds will fit in anywhere. And being a young dog at only a year and a half old, you should have many, many years to enjoy Dove in your life.
