All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

With Meeko you get two looks in one dog! See his picutres? Meeko with his summer coat and Meeko with his amazing fluffy winter coat. Summer equals the Teddy Bear look. Winter is the powder puff outfit. There is just no way he could be any cuter. And the best news is that while he is adorable on the outside, he is oh so sweet on the inside. His foster says of him "A bundle of fluffy cuteness at 2 years old, Meeko is handsome and loving. He is the exact image of his breed characteristics and lives up to all of it: high energy, needs a great deal of exercise, sensitive, plays well with other dogs, very smart and did we mention high energy! Meeko is young and has so much to learn from his new home and should get into training quickly. Spitz make great agility dogs. If you are looking for a couch potato Meeko is not your guy, but if you love to walk or jog and be very active he just might be the pup you are looking to bring home forever. A fenced yard is recommended but not required if you can give him the right level of exercise."
