Magnificent Lady Sadie represents all that is legendary in a purebred German shepherd. Born of solid German stock, she is an old world type of shepherd, with the big chest and strong body, but especially with high intelligence and amazing loyalty to you and yours. When Lady chooses you, it's a life bond. She is wonderful about chilling when you want to chill and being up for play or a walk when you are feeling like some exercise. She has no food aggression at all, and, in fact, takes food from your hand so softly that it's like a butterfly kiss.  She has only a single flaw, and that is that you and your family are totally hers. She does not want to share her family with other dogs. She should be an only dog. She has no problem with dogs she meets, but she does play hard. She is wonderful with people, but can spot a bad "apple" in a second and will usher him straight out the door. She will greet your friends with joy and, yes, often kisses, although her heart will always be reserved for you. Her foster says "She watches over me, no matter where I am in the house. Wherever I am, there she is. To be chosen by Ladie Sadie is an experiennce like no other. Her devotion is unmatched by any other dog I've ever had, said her foster." She is an athletic dog and loves hikes, walks, and would enjoy jogs. Her favorite activity in the world is chasing tennis balls, or any other round object. Sticks are also high on the list. Right up there too is playing in a sprinkler or getting squirted with the hose. If you like to walk in the rain, Lady will be right by your side. Positive reinforcement is a must for her, as she will never respect you, only fear you, if you use harsh methods. Your advantage is that she really wants to please her person. We would prefer that she go to an individual or family with German shepherd experience. She is trained to a fence and will not cross it. She always comes like an arrow when called.  She is strong, healthy, up to date on all her shots, and even microchipped. She will be a true gift to whoever she chooses to love with all her great heart.
