Mercy needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Mercy is young, and one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met. Her story is one of surprises. She was chosen by a family and it looked like it would be a good home and adoption for this best of girls. Her final vet check put a halt to the process. Somewhere, somehow, our Mercy had become pregnant. The family didn't feel they could deal with puppies, so, suddenly, Mercy had no home. Rescue scrambled to find a place for her and a great foster stepped up. There , in peace and quiet, Mercy produced a huge family of TEN puppies! Rescue is finding them all good homes and soon Mercy will be ready, once again, for her own home. Along the way, we have fallen in love with this dog and her amazing, quiet, laid back, loving personality. At only about a year old, she is a calm, easy dog. Rather small for a Lab, she has all the perfect characteristics common to Labs that have made them America's #1 family dog and best friend. Her foster says "She is stunning. Friendly with everyone. And the most laidback lab I have ever seen. She is the best. When I met her the first time she never jumped up she never did anything but sit there and want to be petted or laid down."
She will be ready to go to her own home in time  to be a Thanksgiving dog, so if you get your application in right away, you could be the one who wins the gift of Mercy and will be able to snap your leash on her that day and begin life with one of the best dogs ever.
