Jaeger is all hound, from his sturdy body right down to his extra floppy ears. If you like hounds, Jaeger is the dog you have been dreaming about. He is already house trained and has been around kids and other dogs his whole life. A real "good ole boy", he loves the outdoors and would be perfect for a family or individual who also does. Being out in the woods  and fields is his ideal day, but he is just as good playing in your backyard. We are asking for a physical fence around that yard, as he has that hound desire to follow his nose . He has lived on, and enjoyed, a farm. He is hoping to be your best boy and will try hard to make you happy. We have made sure he is up to date on his shots and is ready to go!
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Jaeger is such a happy hound! He will need at least a 5 foot fence because he’s a bit of an escape artist. Jaeger loves every person he meets and attaches quickly to them. He’d do best in a home with someone who is there more often. Jaeger would like to live with another dog, so he can be taught how to play with toys. He doesn’t know how to do that. He loves to take walks and is great on a leash. At night, Jaeger sleeps in his crate. He doesn’t make a peep or have accidents. Jaeger also loves to prop his feet up on the back of the sofa and look out the window. He is the perfect hound dog!
