This sweet puppy looks very much like a smaller German shepherd  and we also have his mama, who also looks like a smaller German shepherd, and while we have no idea who dear dad might be, we think this little one will grow up to look a lot like mama. You can see mama at the bottom of the page. In the meantime, are you ready for full on puppy breath, playtime, LOTS of playtime, showing your new baby the "ropes" of life, fun, puppy energy, and lots of naps when he is exhausted from all that play? A beautiful little boy, he is hoping to start out life in a loving home where he can show you all that famous shepherd loyalty and love. 
UPDATE FOR YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Hello my name is Rodger  and I am a 13 week old German Shepherd mix. My mom was a smaller German Shepherd I am not sure about my dad but my foster thinks I have husky in my mix.  I currently weigh 22lbs.  I am a sweet boy and I have been living with my foster mom for the last 4 weeks along with her dogs and several other puppies who are on the property so I am friendly and fully socialized and I love other dogs and people. I have learned to settle nicely in my crate. I have medium energy but will be quite content to settle in my crate with a bully stick. I am looking for a home with a fenced yard and someone who can take me for walks, and provide me with plenty of enrichment.  I am looking to start out the rest of my life with a forever loving family who are prepared to provide me with the necessary care and loyalty  so I can continue to grow into the happy loving sweet boy that I am.
