They started out calling me "that sweet little girl", but soon decided I needed a name, so now I am Sophie, but I'm still extra sweet! I am very young, just barely ending puppyhood, but I didn't get a good start. The people who had me only fed me here and there and I was SO hungry. They were mean to me, too, but when those Angels from rescue showed up to save me, they unchained me and gave me wonderful FOOD! They were crying and counting my ribs, but I was too busy eating. I was afraid it would vanish before I could finish it, but wow. Every day they fill my bowl and they can't count anything on me any more. I am putting that food to good use. Woof, woof, yes!  I hold nothing against the people who abused me, though, because now I know that there are  wonderful people out there who will care for me and tell me they love me. I have an outstanding temperament and love people right back. The bad people never touched the dog I really am. She was waiting in there to come out and she did! I love to play (remember, I am very young yet), and am always eager to please. You tell me what you want me to do and I will do my very best to do it so you will tell me I am a good girl. I have shown myself good with the other dogs and cats I have met, too. To make my life perfect now, all I need is a person or family that I can shower with all that love I've been saving up. I hope it's YOU!
