My first birthday is still some months away, so I am still very much a puppy. I want to be a good girl. No, actually, I want to be YOUR good girl. I don't know what having a family feels like, but when I listen to the other dogs, it sounds just wonderful. I am very smart and will try with my whole self to learn everything you want me to know. I enjoy romping in a yard and can't wait to learn about this "Let's go for a walk" thing. All the new smells and sights and sounds, oh, please take me right now! The nice people here saved me from a terrible place and I don't ever want to think about it again. My true heart wish? I'll tell you if you'll keep it in your heart, too. We'll share! I want someone to love, maybe even a whole family to adore. And maybe, if I do it really well, they will love me back? The rescue that took me away from the bad place has gotten me all my shots and had a doctor look me all over. She said I was perfect! And ready to go. Could I be your very own little girl? Could you come very soon? I want to find out all about this amazing place called "a home". My first birthday is around Christmas. Maybe we could have cake?
