Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Hello, I'm Gus! I'm a sweet, mellow fellow with a playful streak that keeps me young. My curious nature means I love exploring new places and sniffing out hidden treasures. I'm brave, not easily spooked, and I'm smart, too. I've mastered all the basic commands and a few fun tricks. My loyalty runs deep; once I've bonded with someone, it's for life. I'm friendly to everyone I meet, and always ready to make a new friend. So why should you adopt me? Because I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and endless loyalty. I'm just waiting for my forever home to share all the love I have to give.
Gus is neutered, and vaccinated for dhlpp, bordetella, and rabies. He has a 4DX heartworm test and microchip with lifetime registration. Gus is on monthly parasite prevenatives.

Also included in the adoption are 30 days of Pet First Pet Insurance, and Petco's Free Welcome to the Family Program. This program supports All New Pet Parents and offers Free resources, more than $650 in savings, and 24/7 support.
