All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
You know how it is with fine wine? How it ages to perfection? Well, Trinity is the rarest of the rare of wines. He really has reached the thousand dollars a bottle level, though his adoption level is not at all in that ballpark. His foster has started calling him Prince Charming because he simply radiates total joy and people truly do feel it whenever they are around him. He may be older, well, a lot older, but he has that special quality that makes people stop and smile. And Trin? well, he loves every living thing, human and otherwise. He was raised from a puppy by an older lady and lived with a housefull of cats all his life. He play bows for any dog he meets and there hasn't been a human yet for whom he has not spread his love. Perfectly house trained and with good manners, he loves to run free in his foster's backyard, but he also walks on his leash and travels in the car. He is a little nervous in the car, but is never a problem. Gets right in and is oh so happy to come out. At his age, he is a bit deaf, but only a bit, and it is due to a lifetime of ear infections that were never treated, according to the vet. Just wave your arms so he can see and he comes trotting. Yes, trotting! There is a bushel of life still in Trin. He is crate trained, however his complete desire is to be with you. His well used bones are ever so happy to lie next to you , even on a hard tile floor, rather than be on a soft bed.and away from you. His person will always win over bodily comfort. His foster has finally moved a dog bed near all her favorite chairs, especially when the TV is on. He does love to watch a good show. Noises don't bother him and he has learned that "this too, shall pass" when they happen. A Zen master! His foster says" I've got to tell you, this dog is magic. He has the ability to pass his joy to others like a gift and he does it freely." If you would like to try his gift, come discover what it feels like to encounter such happiness.
