All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Betsy is a graduate of the famous cell dog program, where dogs are given intensive training for months under professional supervision so that they can become the very best family dogs possible. They learn to be house broken and are taught many commands, both verbal and nonverbal. She has been  crate trained, obedience trained and socialized.  They are exceptional dogs in every way. Betsy is a mix of two incredible family dog types and she got the best of both. Her coat is a beautiful golden color, but without all the feathering of  a pure golden, which requires so much care. Check out the tail, though, and you will see the lovely feathers, that fan the air with every swish, and she swishes a lot, as she is a happy, outgoing dog. Her lab side makes her playful and she is ready to romp in your backyard, as well as go for long walks with you. All this and already trained, too. It just doesn't get any better than that!  If you are interested in Betsy, please contact:

UPDATE: Betsy has been found not to like cats, so she should go to a home without them. She also likes to be the dog who gets all the attention, especially with female dogs, so she should probably not go to a home with another female dog in residence.
