All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Copper is coming back to us a changed guy!! Yes, he spent time in the "big house", literally!! He was in the cell dog program and has learned housebreaking, crate training and basic obedience and he's still the class clown… everyone loves this guy and he has had so much fun playing with the other dogs… But now he has some manners and is anxious to get into a forever home.

Outgoing just isn't enough to let you know what a happy, joyful dog this is. Still very young, he loves to run and play and would be the ideal "best buddy" for an individual who is active. He would like to be a running buddy, or go for long walks, play in the yard or the park, go camping, hiking, anything where he could stretch his legs and feel the sun on his back! He would also be a good dog for an active family, as he is so outgoing that he would welcome any and all friends to the house. Fun and a bit goofy, Copper is a dog who will make you laugh. He has completed his training, but his natural tendency to want to please you. If your ideal dog is a happy guy, you can't make a better choice than Copper.

Copper is a dog who really deserves a home. He will repay you every day of his life with love and laughter. This is a nice boy who loves people and other dogs.

Copper is very treat motivated and walking well on lead and knows sit.. he just really needs someone to spend time with him and exercise!! He is learning new commands all the time.. He has learned to walk nicely on lead, knows sit, wait, down and learning stay... he's so happy to have someone spend time with him.

Copper really is a really super loving boy!!! And he would love another active canine pal to play with!
