This is what I know about Lars. We work very closely with our local Dog Pound to save as many dogs as we can. Lars was at the Dog Pound on kill day when I noticed him. THere was something in his eyes that told me he shouldn't be there. He wasn't jumpy and barking like all the others and I decided to find room for him at the shelter. I took him to our place and observed him for a couple of days. His kennel was clean each day and he waited patiently to be let out of his kennel. When I had him out he was a different dog. Very playful but respectful. I tested him with Leroy who is a stellar Cell Dog. They romped and played until both were exhausted. He is a forgiving dog that no matter how long he waits he doesn't mess in his kennel and is always happy to see you. This boy needs a home and I pity the adopters who look over Lars, he is absolutely wonderful.

 

He was labeled a "stray" so he may be a stray or they claimed he was so they wouldn't have to pay the impound fee for surrendering him. It was someone's dog, but was never reclaimed.
