All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

If you are interested in Neena, please read our links to the puppy mill industry, so you will understand what has happened in her background and have a good idea of what to expect from her behavior as she adjusts to the new and happy world she is discovering.

Tiny little Neena has had an incredible escape from a prison cage in a puppy mill. A sweet maltipoo, a designer dog made for the expensive puppy boutique trade, she is no longer in a cold cage, but now with a good samaritan who is helping her learn that all human beings will not hurt her. She is learning that it feels good to have someone pet her, a first for small Neena. She is learning that there is a great big wonderful world outside and that it is fun to go for a walk and smell the smells. She is learning, oh so much about the life that awaits her when she comes to live with you. Still very shy, she is beginning to come out of her wall of fear and learning to accept new sights and sounds. Born to be a lap dog, she is bravely walking in that direction, baby paws at a time.

PLEASE NOTE;Puppy mill rescues are not able to be placed in a home without dog experience (no first time dog owners); must not go to a home with young children (too much activity for the dog trying to "make it" in the outside world); and must go to a home where they will not be left for more than a four hour stretch.
