All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Katie is a velcro girl who bonds very closely with her chosen person. She loves to snuggle and she will be a lap dog when & if you invite her. She is just over 2 yrs old and weighs about 55 lbs. She is built like a sturdy tank! It would take a tornado to blow her off her feet. Her shimmering short coat is easy care. Katie walks well on the leash, is housebroken and crate trained. She will thrive best in a fenced yard and as only dog, but she can be expected to get along with another dog, preferably a male who is willing to let her be in charge of things. Katie would love nothing more than to have a quiet place to lay in the sun (she LOVES sunbathing) and an occasional game of fetch with the tennis ball with her forever friend. Even though Katie bonds strongly, she is not clingy and is happy to lay by your side playing with her chewies and toys. She is ready to give her whole heart to you. Every day. Forever and ever.
