All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sweetheart Sallie, that's what we call her. And for good reason. This beautiful golden retriever has a playful, happy, outgoing temperament. She loves other dogs, simply ignores cats, and is good with children. She is a "golden" all the way through from her silky coat to her loving heart. In her pictures, you can see she has been shaved, as her owner thought she would do that for the summer, but under ordinary circumstances, Sallie has all those beautiful "feathers" you might expect from a perfect golden retriever. She has always been well loved and would not be up for adoption, except her family has lost their home, making her also homeless. This outstanding family dog is ready to romp into your heart, go for walks with you, play happily in your yard. She already knows exactly how to be a good family dog, so all you will have to add on your side is love. Sallie will do her part in that equation without a single doubt.
