All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Oh, those wonderful waves of shining black fur! Complete with plumed and feathered tail! If you like to bond with your dog while brushing, it is a great experience with Lex. His thick coat shimmers blue-black in the sun. Better than being a real beauty, though, is his temperment. This sweet guy is friendly to other dogs and would be an ideal companion for another dog that might already live at your house. He will also be easy to take to dog parks, or visiting friends with dogs. He also absolutely adores children. Picture him romping in your yard with the kids, or you! He will delight in going for walks with you and will frequently glance up at you with a "what do you want me to do next" expression. A sturdy, healthy boy, we have gotten him neutered for you and given him all his shots. All you will have to add is love. Lex promises to keep his end of the love bargain, and then some.
FOSTER UPDATE:
Lex is really, really sweet. He loves to be hugged, petted, brushed.
He really doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his body. Although i haven't seen him with a child, I believe a child would be okay with him. He really loves people and really loves other dogs as well, and would be happy being bossed around by another dog. He loves to play too. He's walking better on the leash, learning to catch treats in his mouth, and is learning to "sit"! He's a smart boy!
