All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sweet and shy, tiny Diamond is looking for love. This adorable poodle surely deserves a real home where she can be treated like the little princess she was always meant to be. We are thinking of soft pillows, happy walks, a gentle hand on her curly, soft coat and a canine BFF. Her greatest desire is to be someone's special girl. She will try with all she's got to be the very best girl for you. We have helped her along by making sure she is spayed and has all her shots. She is also a graduate of the famous cell dog program, where dogs are given intensive training for months under professional supervision so that they can become the very best family dogs possible. She learned to be house broken and has been taught many commands, both verbal and nonverbal. She has been crate trained, obedience trained and socialized. Graduates of this program are exceptional dogs in every way. She is all ready to give you her heart for all of her life. Diamond is rather skittish until she gets to know you well.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: She is a very sweet dog, a very easy keeper. She is quiet, never destroys anything. She is housebroken, but she doesn't signal. Her new owners must be vigilant about letting her out several times a day. She sleeps through the night and doesn't need to go out until morning. She startles easily, but recovers quickly. She really loves to play with other dogs, no matter how big they are. Two of mine are over 100 pounds, and she's right out there running along side of them. It may take her a month to really warm up to a new home. Once she knows you, you can pick her up and cuddle her, and she loves it. She will sleep curled up to you. She seldom initiates cuddles. but she loves rubs when she gets them.

PLEASE NOTE: Puppy mill rescues are not able to be placed in a home without dog experience (no first time dog owners); must not go to a home with young children (too much activity for the dog trying to "make it" in the outside world); and must go to a home where they will not be left for more than a four-hour stretch.
Diamond NEEDS to be with another dog.. and a fenced yard. She will take time to bond with a person and will do best if there is another very social dog in the home.
