All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

If you are looking for a happy, loving, little companion, you've just found her in Winnie. This small dog owes her shape to mom, a dachshund, and her slender, longer legs to dad, a traveling terrier. Together they produced Winnie, full of the joy of life, ready, willing, and able to go for walks with you. She absolutely loves walks! When she sees her leash come out she bounces with delight. She trots along next to you on her slender legs, looking all about her, taking in the sights and smells. When you get back home? That's when you find out her second favorite thing to do. She's a lap sitter! She curls her long body up, snuggles down, sighs...all is right with Winnie's world when she is in a warm lap. You want more? She is already house trained, a BIG plus in our book, likes other dogs, and is even fine with cats. Get the leash out and your lap ready!
