All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

The word that stood out for us when we had Brodie professionally temperament tested was "fantastic". You don't often hear that about an abandoned dog, but it fits our Brodie. Sweet, friendly, easy, loyal, he is one great dog. Of course, he comes by his wonderful personality nauturally, with his great mix of retriever and setter blood. He was simply made to be a family dog, and the most loyal best friend you have ever had. He is wanting to go on walks with you, play in the backyard, meet and greet all your friends with his beautiful swishing tail, and then, at the end of the day, curl his sturdy body up next to you like a soft rug. Ready to love and be loved, that's Brodie.

EXTRA! EXTRA! New things we just found out about Brodie...he is just great with other dogs, is fine with cats, does not like livestock, like cows, llamas, loves children and is good with them, and finally, for icing on his cake, he loves to ride in cars! Brodie is GREAT!
