All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Yep, he's an older guy, no doubt about that, but what a guy! Big, strong, sturdy, and healthy! So loving, very calm, yet there is a real spring in his step when you suggest going for a walk. He is totally content to sit quietly, even amidst commotion, right there by your side. He has seen it all before and takes the world as it comes. He is the best companion you could imagine. He likes kids, other dogs, but most of all he loves being petted. His shepherd loyalty is strong, so if you are the chosen one, you will know what it is like to be totally loved with the truly legendary love of a German shepherd. He is wise with his years, yet still very interested in life around him. Enjoying the world at your side, he will look deeply into your eyes...you will see the gratitude there for not passing over him, but taking him into your heart. His own heart will be yours for as long as he has breath. This beautiful shepherd and all that he represents, can be yours.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER:  he is just a big ol love bug He lived in a home for 11 years and the owners home was forclosed on ,he ended up in a kill shelter. He just wants to be your buddy has all his shots he is house broken gets along great with other dogs and does not act his age What is he??  He is a big ol doughboy who just wants a home and someone to love!!!
