Griggs needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Young, healthy, and with that great outgoing lab temperament, this lab has been hardwired to be a super family dog. There is a reason that labs have been the number one choice in dogs for 20 years running, and Griggs is ready and willing to show you why. He is extra friendly and will love you and yours with all his heart. He will great your friends and neighbors with delight and as far as we know, you will never see his tail stop wagging unless he is asleep. Griggs loves other dogs, too, so if you are looking for a companion dog for a current canine, he will be a good choice. He is ready to romp in your backyard, go for walks, jogs, really anything you want to do, he will want to do, too. An active individual or family will be perfect for him. He has many long years to show you what a good dog he will be and a great desire to please. Clip on his leash and it will be love from first pat.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Griggs will need an active family...he is good with children and other dogs...not cats though.  He is running 3 miles a day with his foster Mom and could probably do a 10K easily!  He also loves to swim..after his runs, he goes for a swim in a pond..typical lab!  He is a very smart dog and catches on quickly to training. NOT food agressive or possesive of food knows sit hard to get pictures because he sits in front of you.. Playfull yet well mannered. He’s young and has lots to learn, but I’m working consistently with him and he catches on very quickly! He’s such a happy guy who loves to run and swim!

A MESSAGE FROM GRIGS, AS TRANSLATED BY HIS FOSTER MOM: I am well mannered a tad bit playfull. Good with most dogs NO cats, bunnies etc(my lab heritage tends to be stronger) I stand just under 2ft @ shoulders,I'm a larger lab. I am neutered, heart worm negative, and ready to give you lots-o-love.. Thanks Griggs
