All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

 Friendly and loving, Carson even knows the important commands, but after giving a lifetime of devotion to this people, he was abandoned when he began to get older. Traded in on a younger model. And just when he was at hisvery best, too!  Quieter now, and ready for those slower walks, watching sunsets, snuggling near you, he can show you how to enjoy every moment of life. If you are ready for quiet devotion and peaceful evenings, Carson is for you. We so much want to show him that all humans are not uncaring and will return his gifts of love.

FROM HIS FOSTER: Please do not think he has no energy..... because he does play, loves his walks and  likes to ride in the car..... and he rides well and walks nicely on lead.  He is a happy, sweet dog who deserves a forever home willing to give him the attention and love he needs. Does know the sit command.  Tolerates the cat and vice versa.  :-)  Very well behaved when being bathed and groomed.  LOVE being brushed!
