Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about her.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Once upon a time, not so very long ago, there was a big, beautiful yellow lab. Her parents were not at all happy when she fell in love with an ambitious little terrier, but love will find a way. And here we have Sandy as proof that anything is possible when love is in the air. We can truthfully say that in all our years in rescue, we have never seen this combination, creating, actually, a mini-lab. Of course this breed doesn't exist, but don't tell that to Sandy. She is perfect in every way. At five months old, she is ony 11 pounds and we are making our best guess that she will grow only to about 15 pounds. We're in uncharted territory here, so...but enough about genetics and more about Sandy. She is just adorable and good with all other dogs, loves people, has a really "sunny" personality, much like her mom. A happy, healthy, outgoing little girl, and you couldn't ask for a smarter dog. She is already housebroken and crate trained. Imagine, at such a young age. Think what you will be able to teach her in the coming months and years. We have helped her along by getting all her vetting done for you. She is already spayed, has had all her shots, we even had her microchipped.  What's left for you? Add love, and you have a companion for ever. And a unique one, too!
