All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

A bouncing baby girl at only 4 lbs. 6 oz., Fudge's foster would like to tell you about her:

Fudge is very sweet and fun to be around and oh so smart. However, she can be bullied by another dog off her food or a toy. She can certainly go to a home with another dog but she must be watched to make sure she gets to eat her food. I take her outside both morning and evening and it is time for just the two of us. She will eat a little, play a little and then finish eating. She is housetrained using this method. She attackes every leaf, blade of grass or stick all are fair game. She watches the birds coming to the feeder and was even divebombed by a mother robin. She had no idea what happened but knew she was in trouble and came running to me.  She has learned to walk on a leash and is learning to sit. Smart little pup that wants to please.
