All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

 There is a reason why Golden Retrievers are one of the most popular breeds in this country and Bugsy is no exception.  He is a purebred Golden Retriever, only 2 years old and ready to give anyone love.  He loves adults, kids, other dogs and will sit so very still if you pet him.  In fact, he would sit still all day just to have a good pet.  He is good on the leash and even housetrained.  Besides being so handsome, his personality is wonderful.  A happy guy, he just wants to be with people and show how very loyal he can be.

 NOTES FROM HIS FOSTER: What a lovebug Bugsy is.  He sometimes does not realize his size and tries to snuggle like a lap dog!  He does not jump on people. He loves other dogs, kids and ADORES attention and seems to learn quickly.  If I find him with something in his mouth that is not supposed to be there, he doesn't run or hide, but instead drops it or gives it to me.  All he wants to do is please people.  Bugsy is about as close to ideal as dogs come!
