Login to Remember your Favorite Animals and Breeds!

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER:  He has got the funniest little "old man bark" .  Last night I figured out that he likes to talk to you in his "little old man" voice...I bet his Momma talked to her dogs alot and they learned to talk back.  He will definitely tell you what is on his mind...it is really cute and funny.. He also got up on the couch with me last night while I was watching TV and snuggled...I am assuming that is also something that he did with his Momma.  Ever since I have been listening to him when he has something to say and letting him snuggle with me...he seems much more comfortable.    He is a really sweet little guy.  He has a little underbite, so I am wondering if there is pug in his bloodline somewhere.   He gets along with all of the other dogs and seems to be housetrained and he is in a crate with me at night and does well.  Jack will make someone very happy.  If there are any lonely people out there that need someone to talk too ....then Jack is your Man!

The daughter of the woman that died wrote notes about each dog...here is what she wrote about Jack..
"Jack is a very good boy. He just wants to be loved. He is also a talker. I have heard him say mama and he is definitely a RooRoo. When you walk him and he is just about finished he will do his stop drop and roll where he just falls over and rolls on his back. I do know that Jack has a lot of love to give and he likes everyone. just talk to him and he will talk back to you and will become your Roo Roo."

Intelligence just shines from Jack Black's eyes, but he still doesn't understand why he is alone in the world. He only knows his owner left him, not that he died, and will not be coming back. And Jack is such a good dog...gets along great with other dogs, still likes to play, go for walks, but mostly he likes to be with his person. He is happy now to take those slower walks and spend time watching the squirrels, rather than chasing them. This friendly guy would like to  be YOUR best friend. He has lots of experience at being a best friend and has the wisdom and loyalty of an older dog, ready to sit by your side and be all yours. He would love to walk through the rest of his life right next to you and would be extra grateful for a soft place to rest, food in his bowl, and your hand gently on his head.

FROM FOSTER:

Even though Jack looks like a grumpy old man....he is far from it....I love to kiss that grumpy looking old face....and he loves it to!   He makes funny noises when he wants me to love on him!
