All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This sweet, friendly little one is now all alone in the world, since her person became too ill to care for her. A tiny little girl, all she wants to do is snuggle with her person, go for nice walks, play with her tiny toys, and love you. She has always been such a good girl, and now she is frightened, not knowing where her home went and desperately wanting to again feel a gentle hand. Her eyes are pleading for a safe, warm place where she can be your best girl. Little Gracie will bring smiles into your life every day.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Gracie is doing just beautifully! She is a super-sweet, joyous, playful little pup that we just adore. She has so much energy...you'd never guess she's a senior. She's eating like a little piggy and will sit pretty for a treat.

Her mornings are spent following me around the house, working in the yard (she loves the outdoors!) or going for hikes with me and the rest of the pack. She gets excited when she realizes we're going for a walk and let me tell you, she can pick 'em up and put 'em down...stays ahead of the pack the entire walk!

I'm beginning to see a silly side of her....she likes to run backwards when she's feeling playful, diving backwards into her bed and then pushing it in circles. I love to watch her antics.

The evenings are spent just relaxing and cuddling with her on the couch until she hops down and goes back to the bedroom. She waits there for me until I'm ready for bed and we're off to sleep...she cuddles under the covers with me and the rest of the pack. She gets along beautifully with my dogs...a perfect foster fit from the moment she arrived.

She's such a wonderful dog and we'll take great care of her until she finds that perfect home.

NOTE: Gracie is very active for a senior dog. I will insist she go to a home with a fenced yard. Good with dogs, unknown about cats. She requires  an ADULT ONLY home --NO children.
