All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Joyfully full of life, bounce, drive and high intelligence, this very young dog could probably learn anything you could think of, from advanced obedience, to flyball, to accounting. Well, maybe not accounting, but he is so bright, we're not altogether sure he couldn't. A high energy guy, he needs an active family who will give both his brain and body a workout. Jogging and obstacle course work come to mind. His desire to please is very high, and he will look up at you trying hard to see what it is you want him to do. Once he's got it, he's got it. Ready to move on to the next command.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: He really is such a wonderful puppy. Border Charlie loves children and he seems to love cats and ferrets. He wants to play with cats and will sometimes chase them with that in mind, but he doesn't want to hurt them. A dog savvy cat is great.  He likes to herd people. He has so much energy and needs exercise.  He loves to play with any toys that squeak. His favorite toys are definitely his squeaky tennis balls. He loves chasing balls outside and catching frisbees.
