Beauregard needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

|
Beauregard is one silly, happy, loving, busy moderate-high energy dog. He loves life and living and is a real favorite of his caregivers. Loves walks and playing with all of his toys! It simply has to make you smile to be around him!
READ WHAT HIS FOSTER HAS TO SAY ABOUT HIM: Beau came to us feeling really yucky, with heart worm. Now he is healthy, happy and ready to go! Beauregard LOVES kids! Adores them-even the little ones! He is so soft and fluffy and his fur does not matte! House trained! Would be a good companion for another dog. Loves to wrestle and chase, play tug with our young dog, but seemed to be overwhelmed with doggy daycare. He loves all dog toys! He is fun to play with! He knows sit and we are working with a trainer, his leash walking is improving!
He gives very sweet kisses and seems to be a very smart & curious dog. He loves to be petted, especially loves belly rubs:) Loves to snuggle. He ignored a friends cat.
He loves riding in the car and going to kids activities, walks, hikes, etc.
Beau needs a physical fence of 5 ft or greater. He hopped onto the wall behind our house which is 5-6 ft in different places. The neighbor's kids called him up there. Surprise! Up he went. (He has not actually jumped our 5ft fence.)
After working with a trainer for a bit, we have come to discover Beau has some trust issues. Because of that, he will do best in a house with another dog as that companionship really helps him. His new owner will have to continue with training to increase his trust in others.
Beauregard will only go to a home with another dog and someone who's home a lot.. and high fence!
