Redman needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Redman may be a mature dog, but if you read dog language, you can see in his picture he is ready to play! A great, friendly  dog, he likes everyone, including other dogs and even cats. He does like a bit of peace and quiet during his day, but we can identify with that! Happy walks, fun backyard play, those are the things on the top of Redman's list of things to do. He has been chained for so long, that we are hoping that you will give him a nice safely fenced yard, where he can play for the first time in his life without dragging that chain behind him. You will give him life, you will give him freedom! A good boy, and eager to please, he hopes at every moment for a nice pat on his head, or a gentle hand running down his back, letting him know he is wanted and loved. Generally easy going and laid back, he just might be the perfect dog for you!
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Typical hound-doggie, loves everyone, wiggles at the end of his chain for some attention, lets the cats curl around his legs, living on chain 24/7, likes other laid back/quiet dogs (no puppies or rough housing), not his thing!
